More than 1000 transportation and logistics companies will participate at this event, among them 200 Chinese firms.

Next year, Barcelona could become the international center of transportation, if current efforts come to fruition regarding the ion of the city as host of the next Sino-European Forwarders Conference.

For these last several days, David L. Yokeum has been in Barcelona. Mr. Yokeum is president of WCA Family of Logistics Network (a mega-association comprised of neutral logistics groups such as Advanced Professional Logistics Network (APLN), China Global Logistics Network (CGLN), Indian Global Logistics Network (IGLN), World Cargo Alliance (WCA), WCA Projects Network (WCAPN) and All World Shipping, representing more than 1600 cargo companies based in 500 cities worldwide.

Yokeum, together with his staff, have been establishing contact with various institutions, among them the Barcelona Port Authority (APB). Many remember that the last Sino Conference in China drew some 1100 participants.
